The Grill & Smoker
We smoke our own meats, brew and bottle our own BBQ sauce, and hand make all our desserts. We serve breakfast and lunch daily at our cafe. Our breakfast will keep you powered up for an all day hike with our Resort’s own pancake recipe and amazing french toast, made with bread from local Great Basin Bakery. If you are in a hurry, try our Angler sandwich! The perfect breakfast to take over to the lake while you fish in the morning. It is made with sourdough bread, cheddar cheese, two eggs and smoked thick-sliced bacon.
Our lunch menu features new smoked meats, an assortment of artisan burgers made with third pound 100% grass fed Angus Beef patties, and the freshest produce we can get our hands on. The smoked pork sandwich and brisket quesadilla are definitely worth the drive. Another customer favorite is the “Rock Creek Special,” a grilled sandwich with layers of jack cheese, grilled ortega chilies, and tomatoes. Our widely popular “Miller & Son BBQ Bacon Burger” was formulated by our head grill cook, Steve Miller, and is a customer favorite. The patty is layered with melted cheddar cheese, grilled onions, topped with smoked thick-sliced bacon, and then coated in Miller & Son BBQ Brewing Co.’s “craft brewed” BBQ sauce. We have Happy Hour on Fridays and Saturdays midsummer. Come and enjoy a summer afternoon on our porch while enjoying local beer from Mountain Rambler Brewery. Try one of our delicious happy hour menu items, like the smoked carnitas nachos or a hearty bowl of our homemade chili.
